Hagaboda school is situated in Habo, the centre of Habo municipality.
The municipality, which has 10 000 inhabitants, has five compulsory
schools organised in four units with a headmaster in each unit.
Hagaboda school is the only compulsory school for grades 6 -9
(12 - 16 year olds) and is directed by two headmasters.

Hagabodaskolan has approximately 520 students aged 12-16 and
around 60 staff members. The school consists of several buildings that
are well equipped and adequately designed for different needs. The
staff is divided into four teams; in accordance with which classes
they teach. There are also teams organised around the different subjects.

The school is organised in a manner that there are generally no more
than 20 students in each group to make it possible to meet the needs
of each student. Special aid is given to students for shorter or longer
periods.

We try to take good care of our students. In each of the four teams mentioned above, there is a special team consisting of two students
from each class and two teachers. Their task is to look out for and
help students that are excluded by others or have difficulties socialising with others. We call them supporting teams. There is also a student care team with a combination of socio-,school and healthcare. It consists of the headmaster, the counsellor, the nurse and the leader of special education. A leader of leisure time activities helps the students during breaks and is in charge of the recreation hall.
